Oneita Parker is the illustrator and designer who created The Proper Bunny, a non-binary bunny who grew up in a forest somewhere outside of a large city in America. The Proper Bunny’s pronouns are she/her and they/them. Oneita began drawing and sewing as a small child while growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area. As soon as she could she moved to New York City to pursue the crafts of Fashion Design and Textile Design at the Fashion Institute Of Technology. Costumes and creating characters have always been a part of Oneita’s life so when Hollywood called, she answered. During Oneita’s career she has designed creative costumes for dozens and dozens of films, television shows, commercials and music videos. Los Angeles is where she calls home with the love of her life, her wife, film and TV director Rosser Goodman, and their sweet floppy-eared pit bull, Bunnybear.
